I met this wonderful Canadian artist in New York at an international exposition some 10 years ago. I immediatedly fell in love with his Post-Impressionist style works. He and I share a great love of the artist Van Gogh. Once again, he uses the visual language of Post-Impressionism only as his starting point. Not only does he put his own personal painting style and a sense of individuality and love of nature in these works, he is also one of the loveliest people you will ever meet.
I met this European born artist some years ago in New York and have loved placing many of his exquisite landscapes of Paris, New York, Mallorca and Venice in a great many fine Houston homes. What I always found fascinating was how many people who claim they don't like landscapes.....fall head over heals for his modern reinterpretations of the landscape. His works always seems fresh and relevent, something one can't always say about other painters of this genre. He is the epitomy of a European gentleman who takes his craft very sereously. I've been honred to call him a friend and have shared many wonderful conversations with him.
